Given the difficulty I had finding Brigid's Wayside Well while I was working with the Sisterhood of Avalon to plan our 2012 Ireland pilgrimage, I thought I would post a page with photos and clear directions for how to find the Wayside Well.

It might be good that it's hard to find, or even intentional. I'm concerned about the harm that's been done to some sacred sites.
ReplyDeleteIn this case, it's pretty obvious and right beside the road. It's just not particularly findable online. I agree that some sacred sites have been badly damaged, but I don't think that would particularly be an issue here, especially given the much higher profile well just down the street.
